“Longer eternet cable I need to move my modem more in between my computers. The cable is only 6 ft. and on in my den I can not get hooked up on line because of the distance. I thought of buying a longer cable to hook into my desktop in my office and moving my wireless modem into my kitchen and hooking it to the modem there, mid space of where the computers are. Will this work or can you advise me? Thanks”

• In theory you can use up to a 300 foot cable for home use with limited data loss. 50 feet is certainly fine. I am using this cable and it works perfectly!

• i have used a 50ft cable it works find. i done the same however my modern is in my office and have used a 50ft cable to another room.

• Use hard wiring by using cable from modem to the computer.
