“Will this work to connect my laptop to my PC, so that I can use my PC monitor instead of the small monitor on my laptop? My laptop has an HDMI outlet and so does my HP PC. I only need to use the monitor on my PC, while typing from my laptop.”

This cable does not work to connect a laptop to a PC. This cable is to connect a computer with a DisplayPort to a monitor with an HDMI input.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This is a display port to hdmi cable... so if both your laptop and monitor have only hdmi this would not be the cable for you. If you meant your laptop has a display port output and your monitor has an hdmi input then this would work. I currently have the display port connected to my desktop that is then connected to my monitor’s hdmi input port. Hope that helps.
