You can use a thunderbolt 2/miniDP to HDMI dongle to do that. If you have a newer Macbook Pro, you can use a thunderbolt 3/usb-c to HDMI dongle. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.NO. A display port is NOT a USB port. It is a newer display port being added to video cards and is similar to an HDMI. Your Mac must have some kind of display output? The newer ones have HDMI outputs, which would just require an hdmi cable. This adapter will not work with USB!
