• Most likely not. This adapter allows me to connect my HP work laptop to a second monitor using a standard hdmi cable. The Displayport on my laptop is proprietary to higher end HP Ultrabooks, and they don't have hdmi ports. That's the only reason I have this adapter. I doubt you have that unique Displayport on a Chromebook.
