“I have an H/P chrome laptop that doesn't have a HDMI port but has USB ports. Will this device work so i can connect my lap top to my tv? My tv has a HDMI port. I bought a HDMI cable without knowing my laptop did not have a HDMI port.”

Hello, thank you for you question. This adapter allows you to connect a laptop via "DisplayPort" to HDMI, if your computer has that kind of connection available it should work fine. Ruben O. -Dynex support.
