While you can travel with the Airwrap, if you purchase your device in the US, it would only be compatible with other 110/120V outlets - for example you could use the machine in Canada. If you were traveling abroad (Europe, for example),you would need to use a converter or adaptor which is not recommended. This can damage your machine, and / or voice the machine's warranty.

A:AnswerHi there Uri, this is Tia from Dyson. Within the first few uses it is normal to expect a smell from any brand new appliance with a heater element (e.g. toaster/oven/kettle etc.). The smell will fade with time and usage.

A:AnswerNo, they are not interchangeable. Although, there are youtube hacks using a universal diffuser on the top part of the machine and have been able to successfully diffuse their hair with the airwrap. You can get this machine and do this if you use a diffuser for your curly hair and can not get immediately a dryer with a diffuser.
