• Hello, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Ball Animal 3 is not a top-heavy machine. The bulk of the weight is within the ball and cleaner head, as that's where the motor and its components are housed. This model weighs just over 17 pounds. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
