I can't remember how much it weighs. It does say in the description I think. It has an automatic rotating brush in it. You can turn off for cleaning your hard floors and on for your carpeted floors. When it is on, it almost pushes itself. It gets all the ground in dirt out of your carpet. Very easy to push!

The weight of machine is going to be mainly in the ball, which is right over the cleaner head. If you have thicker, shag, or plusher carpeting, you might find that due to the powerful suction this machine has, it is hard to push.
