• Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. The spinning brush bar on the Ball Multi Floor Origin can be disabled, so while vacuuming on hard floors or hardwood, you can turn that off if there are any concerns on using a brush on those surfaces. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
