“On the Cord free stick vacuum, how does it compare suction wise, to a regular vacuum? I need a vacuum that can suck up al the dog hair as well as the dirt. We only have rugs on our tile and wood floors, not carpet.”

The machine is excellent for pet hair pick-up. Although the suction may be less than a "regular" vacuum, it definitely is not wimpy ! In high suction mode it will stick to the floor !!! The convenience of just "grab it and go for it" will allow much more frequent use than a "regular" vacuum.

That's fairly comparable to suction that an upright would provide.
