Sort of. Yes, it will definitely hear the tent. It will remove the visible smoke from the air, but it won’t do a thing for the smell. Also this unit is delicate and runs off a 120VAC outlet. Not something I’d want to haul and power to the middle of a frozen lake.

We would not recommend using this product outdoors, or any place near water where it could be exposed to the elements, or cause electrocution, if it would happen to get wet.
