Q: Can you control the heat temperature and if so, does it shut off once it hits that temp?
A: Yes, you can set a specific temperature you would like for the room to be and it will keep that temperate. It will shut off once it’s at that temperature. And will turn back on once it goes below that temperature. This option is for heat only. For the cool fan you can not control the temperature the same way.

It's hard to pinpoint a level in terms of degrees that it would cool a room, as environmental factors such as the number of windows and doors can affect room temperature, for example. Q: Can the air purifier function alone, without the cooling fan or heater operating? Thank you
A: Hello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson HP01 Pure Hot + Cool will only purify the air when the machine is turned on, either in hot or cool mode. The air gets purified when it passes through the HEPA filter, and is then expelled in to the air via the amplifier loop. A: Hi Adam, this is Kelly with Dyson. The filter in the Dyson HP01 Pure Hot + Cool has 4382 hours of life. If you were to run your machine 12 hours every day, your filter would last a year. Q: Does this actually air condition and heat air?
A: It heats, it doesn't cool just fan.

A: Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. Once your HP01 unit reaches the target room temperature, the unit will go into standby mode. Oscillation will stop, and heated air will no longer be flowing through the loop.
