The 15-inch MacBook Air with the M4 chip lets you fly through work and play. With Apple Intelligence, a spacious Liquid Retina display, up to 18 hours of battery life, and a strikingly thin and light design, it’s built to last and can take on just about anything, anywhere.
Q: Does it have an hdmi port? Card reader? USB ports?
A: The M4 MacBook Air does not have a built-in HDMI port, SD card reader, or traditional USB-A ports. Instead, it comes with two Thunderbolt 3/USB-C ports and a standard headphone jack. To connect external displays (like HDMI monitors), SD cards, or older USB-A devices, you’ll need to use a USB-C hub or adapter. These hubs typically offer multiple ports like HDMI, USB-A, Ethernet, and SD card slots all in one, making it easy to expand your MacBook’s connectivity. This design keeps the laptop thinner and lighter but means you’ll need accessories for older or specialized devices.
Q: Will i be able to transfer data from a Mac book pro 2015 model in store to this Mac model
A: To do that in store I would recommend you buy from your nearest Apple Store. They have a setup table just for things like that, and they will assist you if you have questions about what to do free of charge.
Q: what softwares are installed?
A: The M4 MacBook Air comes out of the box running macOS Sequoia (as of 2025) and includes Apple’s standard suite of pre-installed apps: Safari for browsing; Mail, Messages, and FaceTime for communication; Contacts, Calendar, Reminders, and Notes for productivity; Photos, Preview, and QuickTime Player for viewing and editing media; Music, Podcasts, TV, and Books for entertainment; Maps, Find My, Weather, Stocks, News, Voice Memos, and Clock for everyday utilities; plus System Settings, the App Store, Siri, and Freeform for collaboration. Apple also bundles creative tools like iMovie and GarageBand, along with its iWork suite—Pages, Numbers, and Keynote—all free. iCloud services, Apple Pay, and Keychain integration are built in as well, but you won’t find Microsoft Office, Adobe software, or other third-party apps preloaded; those must be installed separately.
Q: How does this compare to a Microsoft laptop with Windows 11?
A: With the Mac, there is no need for antivirus software, the Mac OS is more secure than Windows 11, and the build quality of the Mac is far superior to most Windows Laptops. With a Mac, Apple designs the hardware and the software to work together. With Windows machines, Microsoft makes the software and a multitude of companies design the hardware. Apple in my experience gives a more reliable, and unified "It Just Works" experience.
Q: Can it be connected to a printer?
A: Yes, via wifi as well as usb c cable.
Q: I have an old 27 in IMac. Can I use it as a monitor with the new M4 Mac Book Air
A: Unfortunately, most iMacs made after 2014 do not support Target Display Mode, and newer MacBooks, including the M4 MacBook Air, do not support this feature either. You would need a third-party app or hardware workaround, such as Luna Display, Duet Display, or Astropad, but keep in mind that these methods are not officially supported by Apple.
A: Si.
Q: Does the 15-inch MacBook Air come with a 35W Dual USB-C Port Compact Power Adapter
A: Ya it does works good

I recently upgraded to the Apple MacBook Air 15-inch with the M4 chip, and I couldn’t be happier! It was a HUGE upgrade from my MacBook Air 13-inch with the Intel processing chip... That thing was a dinosaur compared to my new MacBook! As a teacher who moves between buildings, having a lightweight and portable laptop is an absolute must, and this MacBook Air delivers. Despite its slim design, it’s incredibly powerful—I use it for grading, lesson planning, editing the yearbook, and even personal tasks, and it never slows down. The Midnight color is absolutely gorgeous, and I get so many compliments on it! The finish is sleek and professional, making it a perfect balance of style and function. Plus, the battery life is phenomenal, lasting me several days without needing to recharge. Speed and efficiency are where this MacBook truly shines. The M4 chip handles everything effortlessly, from multitasking between Google Classroom and Photoshop to streaming and video editing. The screen is crisp and vibrant, making long work sessions much more enjoyable. It does show fingerprints pretty easily, which doesn't bother me. I bought a screen protector and keyboard cover on Amazon for it. If you’re a teacher, student, or just someone looking for a powerful, lightweight, and stunning laptop, this is it! Apple knocked it out of the park with this one. Highly recommend!

I recently got the new 15-inch MacBook Air with the M4 chip in the Black color, and I’m honestly blown away. The color looks stunning—sleek, bold, and doesn’t show fingerprints as much as I expected. Performance-wise, the M4 chip handles everything effortlessly—from multitasking to light video editing, it’s fast and responsive. The screen is big and beautiful with vibrant colors, and the speakers are surprisingly rich for such a slim device. Battery life easily lasts me a full day, even with heavy usage. It’s lightweight but feels premium, and the larger screen makes a big difference. If you want power in a portable package with style, this one’s a winner.
