I also read that this model - although the most expensive- does not have laser technology even the the photos here and elsewhere are misleadin null

Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. The LCD display on this model is going to show you the run time countdown to the second, and also shows maintenance alerts, such as the need to clean your filter. This model does not have the particle display count - that can be found on the V12 and V15 Detect machines. The Outsize also does not have the Laser Slim Fluffy head, which is the head that features the laser technology. Outsize comes with the High torque CL cleaner head.
