“Is this vacuum suitable for wood floors even though it does not have the fluffy roller head?”

• I advise against it. It practically “sanded” my hardwoods after a few months of use. Now I have to have them refinished. I’ve since out it up and purchased the smaller Dyson with the fluffy roller. Too little too late though. My floors are ruined. My outside is definitely a carpet vacuum.

• Hi Spencer, this is Kelly with Dyson. You can use the Dyson Outsize Total Clean on any type of flooring. Having said that, if you normally would not use a spinning brush bar on your hardwood, you may not wish to use this machine either, as the brush bar cannot be disabled.
