• No. The operating instructions specifically states not to operate near fireplace or areas with high temperature heat sources.

• Hello Petey, This is Miella from Dyson. The Pure Cool Link Tower is a tower cooling fan rather than an air conditioning unit. While it will circulate the air, it may blow out cooler than the warm air coming in. We also do not recommend sitting it anywhere near fire. Hope this helps! Miella Dyson Customer Support
