Hi Susan, its Tameka with Dyson. The Dyson Pure Cool Link does not emit any ozone. The Pure Cool also helps eliminate odors, bacteria, mold, toxin, etc. I hope this helps. Hello Susan, this unit does not give off an ozone smell as it doesn't use ozone to purify the air. It only uses a Hepa filter. It should help eliminate a lot of the smoke due to the Hepa filter, but I don't think it will help much with dampness.

I have not noticed a smell. It is supposed to eliminate odors such as cigarette smoke. It comes with a HEPA filter, so I would assume that it does remove odors.

Jiltry · Answer

Not really. But if you are very sensitive with smell, it f smell like clean (hard to describe it)

DBarksdale · Answer

I have two dogs and do not have any odors from them with use of this fan, however I could not tell you whether it removes smoke or dampness odors. I am not sure what you mean by an 'ozone' smell, wish I could help more!

I don't get an ozone smell from mine, as far as the others I don't have anyone who smokes in the house and I live in a climate that has no humidity so I can't speak for the dampness odor either.
