I believe it would help. I put the one I purchased in my son's room and it has really helped it to smell so much better. I definitely recommend the product.

I don’t believe it helps with odors. Mainly the purifier helps filter dust and is an oscillating fan.

It's purpose is to remove pullutants from the air, which it does very well, now the odor from your ferret isn't just floating in the air, it might help reduce some odors in your room, but you would probably need to clean and/or sanitize everything to get smell to go away, things where odor has soaked in and can linger.
