Does it come with a filter? null

yes, a filter is installed. large appliance but much lighter than it appears. fairly quiet.

If purchase new, the unit is ready to go so it already has filter build in. The filter unit (round unit) can use about a year, so you need to change every 12 months as recommended. But the replacement is a little pricey. But is is pretty easy to replace not like other brand you need to replace filter every 3 months and replace the HIPPA filter every 12 months.
