Hi there Biddy, this is Tia from Dyson! In the event of leaving a window open while operating the Dyson TP01 purifying fan, you may notice varying results from the machine's integrated sensors. These sensors are designed to constantly analyze your air, while our unique algorithm cross-checks data every second to diagnose pollutants at a molecular level. You will likely also notice continuous running of your purifier until the desired purified level is reached, if you utilize Auto Mode. Thanks for your interest in Dyson technology!
