Outstanding bladeless fan
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.I had second thoughts about buying a bladeless fan because I didn’t think that it was strong enough compared to regular/usual fans. But when I bought and tried this one it absolutely changed my perspective. This is one of the best fans out there. It is powerful yet quiet. It has a modern design and it’s not taking up too much space so you can just place it in a corner and enjoy cool air.

Dyson Fan
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed.I bought this to use as a fan and a purifier. I like to use it as both and it works great. I like the sleek design as well. I gave 4 stars because it is expensive.

Perfect for my small studio apartment
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Quality product! I live in a small studio apartment and found this model to be extremely useful capturing dust from accumulating. Prior to purchasing I’d have to sweep up dust globs daily. Not to mention I can breathe so much better having quality air!

Q: QuestionWe changed the filter but the code still flashes “F= (three Bars). Why?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. When you change the filter on your TP01 Pure Cool, you will still see the flashing "F" until you reset the filter indicator light. To do so, press and hold the 'standby ON/OFF' button for 6 seconds on the remote, to reset the filter light. Hope this was helpful! Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support

Q: QuestionCan you tell me the average power consumption (kw per hour) for the Dyson TP01 Pure Cool tower fan?
Asked by Kerry.
- A:Answer Maybe this might help you in figuring out your power consumption. I believe that all electric utility companies bill out in kilowatts. 1,000 watts equal 1 kilowatt. Based on the figures from the Dyson rep, at high speed it uses 56 watts (per hour?). So, if you ran this fan at full speed for 24 hours straight, it would consume approximate 1344 watts or roughly 1.34 kilowatts. Now lets multiply that figure by 365 days in the year -- 1.34 KW X 365 DAYS = 489.1 Kilowatts of electricity used IF this fan ran continuously for 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Now say your cost per kilowatt hours is 16.5 cents, you would multiply 16.5 cents by the kilowatt hours consumed -- .165 X 489.1 = $80.70 = cost to run this fan for the year. This means that your fan would have run for 8,760 hours non-stop at high speed for the entire year. Hope this helps with you figuring out your cost to run this fan..

Q: QuestionI'm sure air quality and run time play a huge roll in filter duration, but is there and estimated life for filters?
Asked by KingDude.
- A:Answer Hi Rodney, this is Kelly with Dyson. Great question! The filter life for our Pure Cool Tower, and other purifiers, is roughly 4382 hours. If you use your machine 24 hours a day, the filter life will be approximately 6 months. If you use your machine 12 hours a day, you can expect a year of filter life. Q: QuestionCan this be used in place of air conditioner?
Asked by Al49field.
- A:Answer No, it’s an air purifier or a fancy fan. Just moves the air, it doesn’t cool it.

Q: QuestionThis says it has wifi, but is not compatible with the link app. What does that mean? Or does it not have wifi?
Asked by smak.
- A:Answer The Dyson TP01 is only the fan and filter. It does not have WiFi. The Dyson fans have a special naming convention that include: ‘Pure, Cool, Hot, and Link’ I think they mean the following: Pure means it has a filter Cool means it moves air Hot means it can heat air Link means*** it has WiFi So if you want a Dyson fan with certain features like WiFi you would need a Dyson ‘Pure Cool Link’, which means it has a filter, moves air, and has WiFi. Hope that helps! I wish their branding wasn’t so confusing.

Q: QuestionDo it have a inozier
Asked by Sleepy.
- A:Answer Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. An ionizer releases charged chemicals into the air, which bond with particulates and assist in removing those particles. However, this generates Ozone in the home. Dyson Purifiers do not use Ionization to purify the air and do not generate ozone. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support

Q: Questiondoes The purifier and fan have separate functions? In other words, can I turn the purifier on without using the fan?
Asked by Lez1.
- A:Answer I believe Dyson's website says that speeds 1-2 or 1-3 run the purifier, while the higher speeds 3-10 apply the cool air. Not exactly what you were looking for, but something similar. I have had other brand air purifiers, and they all have a fan component. It must suck in unpurified air and blow out the clean air. The benefit of this one is it oscillates more, has a lot more speed choices, and provides cool air.
