“What kind of magnets does the Dyson Fan & Heat Unit have? I know it says the remote has a magnet where is it and how strong are the magnets. I bought this for my mother and she has a pacemaker. HOW SAFE ARE THESE FANS FOR PEOPLE WITH PACEMAKERS???”

Hello Carl, this is Kelly with Dyson. Great question. Both the fan and the remote control contain magnets. Pacemakers and defibrillators may be affected by strong magnetic fields. We would suggest if you or someone in the household has a pacemaker or defibrillator, to avoid placing the remote control in a pocket, or near to the device. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
