QuestionMy Dyson cool fan doesn't stop rotating. The control does not stop it from rotating too. Even when I switch off the fan, it still rotates continuously on its own without the wind. How can I fix it? I purchased this 3 months ago.

QuestionI have 3 dogs and I want to get rid of the dog smell in my 700sqft living room. Will the activated carbon layer be filled up more quickly? I plan on keeping the device on 24/7 at 1-2 speed. How long would the air filter last?

- Answer Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. The filter in your machine has been engineered to last 4382 hours, which would be one year with 12 hours of daily use. QuestionDoes the intensity of the fan impact the intensity of the purifier? For example if the fan is set to the highest setting of 10, does that mean the purifier is also at its highest?

- Answer Hi Joe, this is Kelly with Dyson. The TP01 Pure Cool Tower does have airflow speeds from 1-10. While the machine is in use, air is drawn in through the bottom where it's passed through the filter, and this purified air is expelled through the aperture. At a higher airflow level as more air is drawn in, more will be expelled, so you may notice that you achieve your target air quality level in higher airflow speeds. QuestionWhy is the term 800sq feet in the title if it can only clean 172 efficiently? Saying it can purify any room size given time is extremely misleading to the consumer. Might as well say it could service my entire neighborhood... given time.

We do recommend in larger homes or spaces, if you're looking for whole-home purification, you may wish to have more that one machine in your home. Questionit says it cools air. is this not appropriate for the winter months in the northern climate like chicago? will it throw too much cool air around for comfort?

- Answer Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson Pure Cool purifier fan will clean the air in any size room. The bigger the room, the longer the machine will take to purify it as there is more air in the room. In a room of 139ft², the tower purifier fan will purify the room in 27 minutes. In a smaller room, it will take less time to purify the air; in a bigger room, it will take longer to purify the air. If you're looking for a basic air purifier, and not interested in a machine with more bells and whistles, this is a great model for the purpose you're seeking. QuestionI have a TP01, just changed the filter and cannot get the filter light to stop flashing. I turned it off, turned it back on, and held down the proper remote button for 6 sec, even tried unplugging and replugging. Still flashing. Help!
