Yes, this will help cool. We keep the ac on 70 or 69, with one reason being that even if its 70, its so humid in the summer you just get stuffy. This will keep the air moving and help wick the perspiration from your skin and thus, keep you a little cooler.

Air conditioning units and the Dyson Air Multiplier™ fan like the TP01 Pure Cool Tower, are two very different products that work in very different ways. An air conditioner refrigerates the air it supplies, allowing the air in the room to be made cooler than the ambient temperature outside. The Dyson Air Multiplier™ fan cools a person by moving air over and around them. There are ten air speed settings, but you cannot set an actual temperature on the unit itself.
