Hi Simon, this is Kelly with Dyson. Dyson purifiers are proven to capture particles as small as viruses with our HEPA filters. However, we haven't tested with the COVID-19 virus specifically. We highly recommend using purification if you can as many of us are spending much more time inside our homes, generating indoor pollution from cooking, cleaning, from wood-burning stoves etc. and purifiers can remove those pollutants from the indoor environment.
