A:AnswerNot sure what you saw. The one that I purchased from Best buy has a silver tag with black writing on it with the serial number on both the box and the dryer.
And I have a switch on the back of my dryer to turn it on and off.
A:AnswerHello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. Thank you for your interest in the Dyson Supersonic. The Dyson Supersonic™ hair dryer is Dyson’s first foray into the beauty industry. Powered by the Dyson digital motor V9, it’s fast-drying and helps prevent extreme heat damage to protect natural shine. And as the only manufactured hair dryer with the motor in the handle, it’s engineered for balance. Our dryer does feature an ionizer, which negatively charged the air, to help reduce static in the hair.
Best wishes,
Kelly

A:AnswerHello Aldo, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson Supersonic, and the Pro model Supersonic both offer the same heat and speed settings, and 1600 watt motor. They both also come with the diffuser, smoothing nozzle and styling concentrator. Our Professional model was designed for use in a salon environment. The improved filter is magnetic, removable and washable, with a filter cleaning brush and intelligent prompt light. The concentrator has been re-engineered with a wider and thinner nozzle, to focus airflow for precision styling. The cable is also 2' longer, allowing for freer movement around clients. The attachments are also 2x stronger on the Pro model.

A:AnswerHello Joseph, this is Kelly with Dyson. Dyson products, including the Supersonic hair dryer, are designed specifically for the countries in which they are made for and sold in, and machines manufactured for the United States are designed solely for 110-120v electricity. It is because of this fact that we are unable to have the machine converted to meet the specific country electrical code and laws. In order to use the machine in a different country a power converter would be needed.
However, we do not recommend using a converter, as the unit will not perform at the normal expected life of a Dyson product. Please be aware that use of your machine outside of the country which it was purchased may void your warranty.
Best wishes,
Kelly

A:AnswerHello Paul,
This is Miella from Dyson. Dyson products are designed specifically for the countries they are sold in, and machines manufactured for the United States are designed for 110-120v electricity. Our machines are not multi-voltage and we do not recommend using a converter with any of our products and such usage is not covered under warranty. We recommend leaving the Supersonic at home during your abroad travels.
Hope this helps!

A:AnswerHello there Sara,
This is Miella from Dyson. Dyson machines are made for use in the country they are sold in, machines manufactured for the United States are designed for 110-120v electricity. Our machines are not multi-voltage and we do not recommend using a converter with any of our products, as this will cause power issues and void the warranty. Each country has its own rules and regulations and we are unable to guarantee that a machine used outside of the country it is sold in meets all of the requirements of the country it is brought to, so we do not recommend traveling with our machines.
Hope this helps!

A:AnswerRead the post from MadEngineerMark and then have someone with a Torq screwdriver remove it and clean it thoroughly with an old toothbrush and liquid hand soap. Even letting the filter soak in a small glass of water with a little clothing washing machine liquid soap should loosen the debris in the filter. Bad design, very bad.
