A:AnswerDon’t bother with Dyson. Customer Service is not there to help you. Probably the most overpriced junk on the market. The warranty is a joke. Look to buy elsewhere
A:AnswerI think all you need is an "adapter" not a "converter" for the foreign countries you are visiting, I believe this hair dryer will accept either 120 or 220v, but check w/ Dyson to be sure. The label on the dryer should state which voltages are acceptable.
A:AnswerYes the UK and AU use the exact same power standards, you only need a plug converter. A good quality UK to AU plug would be best as the Hairdryer uses a lot of power. So make sure it is a good quality adapter so it don’t melt. Same applies to Europe however they use 230 not 240 like the UK and AU. While the standard was changed a while ago only the label was changed. Meter tests have shown that the UK still uses 240. But 230 is not really that much less compared to 120 in the US where the system should really have been upgraded decades ago.
A:AnswerHello Juno, this is Kelly with Dyson. Dyson products are designed specifically for the countries in which they are made for and sold in, and machines manufactured for the United States are designed solely for 110-120v electricity. (Just as a machine purchased in the UK, would be designed for use in the UK). It is because of this fact that we are unable to have the machine converted to meet the specific country electrical code and laws. In order to use the machine in a different country a power converter would be needed. However, we do not recommend using a converter, as the unit will not perform at the normal expected life of a Dyson product.
Best wishes,
Kelly

A:AnswerHi Grace, this is Carissa with Dyson. We value your interest in Dyson technology. We want to make you aware Dyson's are not dual voltage, the US voltage is 110/120v and if used with a converter we are not able to guarantee the life of the unit and we cannot ship outside the US. We hope this information proves useful. Best wishes, Carissa Dyson Customer Support
A:AnswerHi Neil, this is Kelly with Dyson. Our Dyson Supersonic is not dual-voltage. Dyson products are designed specifically for the countries in which they are made for and sold in, and machines manufactured for the United States are designed solely for 110-120v electricity. It is because of this fact that we are unable to have the machine converted to meet the specific country electrical code and laws. In order to use the machine in a different country a power converter would be needed.
However, we do not recommend using a converter, as the unit will not perform at the normal expected life of a Dyson product. Please be aware that use of your machine outside of the country which it was purchased may void your warranty. This is outlined under the Terms and Conditions of the warranty under the What is Not Covered section in the operating manual. I hope this helps.
Best wishes,
Kelly

A:AnswerYou must purchase in the area where you’ll use it; Dyson manufactures each one specifically for its voltage availability. It requires so much voltage that Dyson does not recommend using an adapter. And it’s pretty heavy, so either take a lighter adaptable one or buy one there.
A:AnswerHi Nicky, this is Carissa with Dyson. We value your interest in Dyson technology. We are pleased to clarify our Supersonic Holiday Edition does come with the diffuser, non-slip mat, styling nozzle, smoothing nozzle, hanging loop, travel bag and of course the Supersonic itself. We hope this information proves useful. Best wishes, Carissa Dyson Customer Support
A:AnswerHi there, this is Krystal with Dyson. Using the machine in another country where the voltage is not the same, a power converter would be needed and we do not recommend using as it can damage the motor. If the motor is damaged, it is likely un-repairable and would need to be replaced.
Feel free to contact us at [email protected] and we will be happy to confirm.
Best Wishes,
Krystal
