A:AnswerHi Nathalie, this is Krystal with Dyson. The Dyson Supersonic, like all of our corded machines, are designed for use in the country in which they are purchased in. Therefore, it will operate on 110-120v if purchased in the U.S. Our machines are not multi-voltage and we do not recommend using a converter as this can damage the machine.

A:AnswerHi there, this is Krystal with Dyson. Dyson corded machines are built for use in the country in which they are sold in. Which means they are designed for that countries voltage. Our machines are not multi-voltage and should not be used with a power converter.

A:AnswerHi Fae, this is Krystal with Dyson. The Dyson Supersonic uses an intelligent heat control which allows you to dry hair without the risk of heat damage. It has high-velocity airflow, allowing you to dry hair faster. The Dyson Supersonic also features a cool shot button which immediately deactivates the heating elements for cooler air to set your hair after styling. This button does need to be pressed to activate.

A:AnswerHi Fasfoz,
This is Carissa with Dyson. Our Dyson Supersonic is not dual voltage. We do not recommend using any extension cords, power strips or converters and we would not be able to guarantee the life of the unit.
A:AnswerThere was no leather case included in the box that my Supersonic Dryer came in.
Three attachments and a rubber placemat to rest the dryer on are what came with it.
A:AnswerHi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. Not all Supersonic hair dryers will come with a presentation case, as well, not all Dyson retailers will carry that model.
Best wishes,
Kelly

A:AnswerHello Liliana,
This is Miella from Dyson. Dyson machines are made for the intended country of use and are not multi-voltage. Using the machine with a converter or on the incorrect voltage can cause power issues and such use is not covered under warranty.
Hope this helps!

A:AnswerHello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. Dyson products, including the Dyson Supersonic™ hair dryer, are designed specifically for the countries in which they are made for and sold in, and machines manufactured for the United States are designed solely for 110-120v electricity. It is because of this fact that we are unable to have the machine converted to meet the specific country electrical code and laws. In order to use the machine in a different country a power converter would be needed. However, we do not recommend using a converter, as the unit will not perform at the normal expected life of a Dyson product.
Best wishes,
Kelly

A:AnswerHi there, this is Krystal with Dyson. Thank you for your interest in the Dyson Supersonic. The Dyson Supersonic along with all of our corded machines are designed for use in the country they are purchased in. The voltage in Japan is 100v while the voltage in the U.S is 110-120v. Therefore, this hair dryer will not operate in Japan. Our machines are not multi-voltage. Using a power converter can also damage them.
