- Answer No it does not come apart. The power cord is rather cumbersome but worth it for the results of the hair dryer. Hope this helps!

QuestionHi, I have removed the protective plastic over the hair dryer when I first started using it. However, I noticed that there are some plastic frills at the head near the metal ring and it start frilling more over time. Am I supposed to remove this film?

- Answer Yes remove all plastic. Area on the handle is where it takes in fresh air. Make sure you always twist the handle apart and keep the vent holes clean to prevent overheating.

- Answer Hi Dave, this is Krystal with Dyson. Thank you for your interest in the Dyson Supersonic hair dryer. Dyson machines are built for use in the country in which they are purchased in. They are not multi-voltage. Dyson machines sold in the U.S. are compatible with 110-120v. A power converter would be needed to use outside the U.S. which is not recommended. - Answer Hi Marisa, this is Krystal with Dyson. They Dyson Supersonic along with all Dyson machines, are not multi-voltage. They are built for use in the country they were purchased in. - Answer Even a jet, can't deliver 125 m3/s. I guess you mean 125 m3/hr. 41 L/s equal to 148 m3/hr.

QuestionHi. I just bought my Dyson hair dryer and I am super excited. I didn’t realize there was plastic on the handle covering about half of the air vents and I plugged it in and ran the dryer for a minute or so. Did I hurt the hair dryer?

- Answer Probably not if only for a minute. Overheating could result if the vents are blocked. Be careful not to hold your hand over them when using it.
