“Hi ... I am looking for a Dyson cordless and stick. My problem is that the electric outlet is close to the floor and I cannot keep it with the long stick for recharge as seen on the demo. Can I keep it lower or without it for next time cleaning work?”

You can choose not to use the plastic hanger part and just plug the power wire to the unit to charge it. We keep moving it around the house to charge so far since we don't have a pantry or space in the laundry room to mount it to the wall. we also remove the long stick so it takes up very little space. hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The docking station just holds the vacuum. The cord to charge it runs from the docking station to wherever you plug it in. In other words, the docking station does not have to be right on top of the electrical outlet.
