Yes, it gets clogged as well with items.

Hello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. Larger debris like paper can get clogged in the inlet between the floor tool and wand. While it's fairly easy to remove, if it occurs you might notice a pulsing noise in your machine indicating a blockage or clog. All our cord-free machines have the same style set up with the wand and floor tool, so anything larger in size can get caught in that part of the machine. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
