Soft roller is good for hardwood floors. But v8 animal does not come with it but only with the regular head. So I’m not sure whether you have v8 animal or v8 absolute.

I use the soft head on my hardwood. I don’t think the v8 animal stick comes with the soft head but I am sure you could purchase it separately.
