• Hi there, this is Krystal with Dyson. The Dyson line of cordless do include 1 battery. We do not recommend removing the battery unless absolutely necessary. The V8 is designed to get 7 minutes in MAX mode for tougher jobs. 25 minutes in standard mode with the motorized cleaner head attached and 30 minutes with the soft roller cleaner head or mini motorized tool attached. 40 minutes for any other tool.
