I used my friend's and liked it, but do you need to hold (depress) the power switch the entire time? Or, is there a way to simply switch it to on? I'm afraid my aging parents would have trouble depressing the button the whole time it's in use. Thanks! null

Yes, you have to hold button while using. It is cordless so after 20 minutes or so, if your vacuuming a lot, you have to recharge.
