What model is most like the v8 absolute null

I believe it's Animal model because it comes with extra attachments.

Hi Charlie, this is Kelly with Dyson. The V8 Animal is most like the V8 Absolute. The only difference between these two models, is that the Absolute will also include a soft roller cleaner head. This tool was made exclusively for use on bare floors. Other than that tool, the Animal and Absolute are identical machines in performance and all other specs.
