I own this Dyson V8 Animal and it does an awesome job on my hard floors (wood and ceramic tile). Definitely recommend.

Our V8 Animal will run up to 40 minutes, comes with a mini motorized tool for getting pet hair off of furniture or great for using in the car. Our soft roller for bare floors only comes with the Absolute units. The Dyson cleaner heads are designed to seal to the flooring for optimal suction, they can be used on bare floors, but the soft roller works better at picking up bigger debris.
