“Does this dyson have a beater bar? We have a new home with engineered wood floors. I can’t use a beater bar as it will damage floor.”

• Hi Jan, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson V8 Animal does have a spinning brush bar, which cannot be disabled. We do carry a soft roller cleaner head, which can be purchased separately for this machine. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
