The ecobee will allow you to set a pin that you can provide to thos five people.

Thank you for getting in touch! For managing multiple thermostats, like your five, we recommend using a residential account. You can send Home invites to other individuals, giving them Member permissions to adjust the program or temperature directly from their own phones and accounts. For setups with more than 15 thermostats, you'll want to use SmartBuildings for streamlined management.
