“Will this work with a Bryant Evolution system made in 2012? They have their own dedicated thermostat wiring system. I wanted a Honeywell but they said I needed a service technician to wire their thermostats to the Evolution system.”

Not actually answering the question. But I have the same system. So interested to know if the OP tried this and did it work? Any compromise in the functionality?

Please try again later.Look at your current thermostat wiring number of wires used four six etc. Then write down your component ie: hot air forced, or heat pump whatever and take a photo of that wiring. then call Ecobee they will be able to tell you. Good luck I have put one of these in three house and love the ease of install and use.
