• For a super expensive vaccum avoiding dark floors and carpet is a completely waste of money. Don't buy it.

• Hi, Please kindly notice that the Deebot is sensitive to dark-color objects so when the Deebot works on the dark carpet, the Deebot will think this is an obstacle similar to a staircase, so it will automatically protect itself and do not clean this area. It is recommended that you fold up the dark-color carpet or set some physical barriers around the carpet to let the Deebot avoid it so that DEEBOT can travel freely in your Should you need any assistance please reach out to Ecovacs Customer Service Support Center to help out with any questions you may have. • Yes, we have very dark stained wood flooring and it has no issue and it doesn’t fall down the stairs (also dark). This is the best purchase I made in a long time! Love my vac.
