“Does the Mesh Wi-Fi system work well with a traditional Verizon Router? I've been hearing a lot about the speed / reliability of mesh wi-fi but I am not 100% clear on what it is / what it replaces. Thanks!”

Yes, this system boosts the verizon signal, especially if you have a lot of walls or floor levels. If you do streaming I would highly recommend this system.

It basically extends the wi-fi signal to extend beyond the house, into the back yard but mostly between floors where once you are a floor above the router, the signal becomes faint if not non-existent. So far, so good. i am working from home in my basement and the signal is great now with this device.
