Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No you do not but I did purchase the eero secure option for its added controls. It’s 2.99 a month or 29.99 a year instead of the 9.99/99.99 eero secure plus that has the vpn and password manager

You get a free trial that comes with it, but I cancelled it because it was interfering with my desktop protection I currently have. I chose not to get it, but if I change my mind I can always sign up for it.

In our case we eventually purchased the annual $29 plan because another service that we had discontinued their plan. We purchased the plan to replace coverage that we lost and was not a requirement for the router(s) to function. Hope that is of some assistance
