You can add an Eero Pro 6, but not all of your devices would connect to it to take advantage of the WiFi 6. Only devices connected to it would have WiFi 6, so I would just upgrade to all WiFi 6

Yes, my house was two eero pros and one beacon, I upgraded one pro to pro 6. Coverage is such I was able to remove beacon.
My mesh network consists now of one eero pro 6 (gateway) and one eero pro
