To a certain extent, yes. However there are too many variables in a home that could reduce the range strength dramatically. Dense wall materials (Brick, Concrete, lathe and plaster). Also remember, water and plumbing can be harmful to wifi signals as well. Oh, old wireless phones, baby monitors, and security cameras can be harmful to wifi signals too. If you have a more modern home, drywall and wood, the Eero Pro 6 should perform well for 2000sq ft. The best thing about getting Eero, is that you can always add on a second Eero to support if you feel like you need it.

Please try again later.While the eero website states "An eero Pro 6 router covers up to 2,000 sq. ft. with wifi speeds up to a gigabit", factors such as mesh router placement, wall thickness and composition will affect performance. If I may suggest, start with just one on a 30 day trial and evaluate. It's easy to add another if needed.
