QuestionWhat is the total height of the washing machine on the pedestal? The specs say 53" combined but I'd like a real world height since I would be mounting these under a row of cupboards.

QuestionIt's common for front-loaders to have mold issues from water trapped inside. Some newer models have a drain feature on the front to reduce this. I do not see that feature on this machine. How does this machine deal with standing water?

Just so you know, mold and mildew are common with front load units and our units are not designed with gasket drains--we recommend wiping off the gasket after standard use to avoid build-up and to run a cleaning cycle on the unit every 30 days to prevent build-up. QuestionIs there an issue with water retention in the door "gasket" after machine is finished washing? A friend has told me she has to dry the area with a towel and leave the door open.

- Answer That's a great question, Arlene! According to the use and care guide, it is normal to have water left in the fold of the flexible gasket. We would recommend after each wash cycle to dry the inside and around the gasket fold with a clean dry towel. Please do not leave the door ajar when there are small children or pets around as this could be a danger. If there aren't any children around, you may leave the door open to prevent odor build-up. You may locate these details on pages 32 and 47 of the manual. -Katrina

QuestionIf your load is too wet after the Spin cycle, it says to select the Rinse and Spin cycle and deselect Extra Rinse as an option. This will allow the washer to perform only the Spin cycle on the load. Does this work and can you use this often?
