“Has the inner door piece changed from glass to plastic with the newer 700 series models? I was looking at a 2025 743 model and the door appeared to be entirely of plastic and no longer glass? Is it model specific? Thanks”

Hi Jen! Thank you for reaching out. The inner door piece (the actual window that seals against the tub) on the Electrolux washer model ELFW7637AT is made of tempered glass, not plastic. This design choice is common in Electrolux washers for durability and performance. The current Electrolux 700 series models generally also feature a glass door, often noted in product specifications or reviews. - Patrick
