Due to the overall height of the stacked washer. On top of the pedestal, I lowered the 4 adjustable legs to as low as I could get them. I have 1-3/8” clearance between the pedestal and the floor. There does appear to be plenty of adjustment on the adjusting feet to achieve the clearance you need. Just keep in mind that the shaking forces of the washer do increase the higher the washer is off if the floor. This machine has very little vibration on high speed spins with big loads of towels or even our king size bedding. I think you would be very happy with it. Note: the installers did not do a great job of getting the mounting feet adjusted exactly right. If you or someone else is handy with a level and a hand wrench you should take the extra time to make sure your washer and pedestal are level side to side and front to back. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thank you for your inquiry! The EPWD257UIW pedestal has adjustable feet that can be raised to accommodate a drip tray underneath. By adjusting the feet, you should be able to lift the pedestal enough for the drawer to open over the 1 1/2-inch tray. -Yhano
