While the Stream Deck Pedal is sturdy, it is not designed to be used as a footrest. However, you may easily switch between Stream Deck profiles, with one not having functions assigned to the pedals so you do not accidentally toggle/click something. I wouldn't recommend using this as a footrest. Get a $10 footrest cushion from a local store or Amazon. This would be one expensive footrest and honestly, not that comfortable.

As long as your don’t have 15 lb feet, add the heavy springs and it takes effort to click it.

Possibly with the harder springs put in but if it's just a footrest and not using for streaming or content creating purposes then there are better options for a foot rest.
