How much ground coffee does the filter basket hold? null

the capacity of the filter seems to be around 3 scoops....but I never use more that 1 1/2 scoops for 140z. cup and 1 scoop for 8 oz. cup...this comes out strong and tasteful...it all depends on the coffee brand you use. Coffe maker started to fail after 14 months ( had to hit the start button 2 or 3 times, would stop brewing after 4 ozs) still , we purchased another because its that good
