Is the battery replaceable by the consumer? null

Yes, but battery cost is not inexpensive. I have never priced the battery pack for this laptop because it is new. You have to replace the entire pack which snaps into the back of the laptop. In the past, I did replace a battery in an older laptop and it cost over $100.00 for OEM.
